Landslide at Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim, Hulu Langat..

On 21st May 2011, the whole Malaysian is being surprised by the landslide at Al-Taqwa Orphans, FELCRA Semungkis, Hulu Langat. The landslide occurred on that afternoon, at 2.30 pm. According to the coordination of that place,the orphan is located at the hillside. Because of the heavy rain a night before the incident, the landslide is easily to occur. There are 49 residents of the orphans, including the student and workers and all of them are male.

Al-Taqwa Orphan, Hulu Langat 

The incident was happened at 2.30pm. On that time, the residents of the Al-Taqwa Orphans was gathering in the hall for preparing for an event with FINAS at 5.00pm.

Because of the landslide occurs quickly, many residents didn't have a lot of time to rescue themselves from being the victim of the landslide. This is because, there are two landslide occurs quickly on the same time.

25 of the residents was saved from the tragedy. 20 students and 4 wardens there was buried by the landslide.

There are a lot of people who are doing their job to help the people who are involved in the landslide buried such as the Fire Bridge, Police and Jabatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (JPAM). All of them have succeed in  issuing the first bodies at 4.30pm,second at 5.00pm and next at 6.10pm.
